Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, also known as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, is an online advertising model used to place advertisements in the context of search results.

The advertisements are usually displayed in conjunction with sponsored searches that target a particular keyword or phrase, and they appear as a button on the side of a search engine results page, or as a search result page when an internet search is conducted with a specific search term.

PPC, or pay-per-click advertising, is a type of online advertising. It works like this: companies bid on keywords to appear at the top of search results, based on ad relevance.
When a person enters a search term, these companies bid for those search terms. When the ads and videos start to load on the page, the person can click on one of them and visit the advertiser’s website.

PPC advertising can be described as a method of rewarding consumers for completing a particular action. They are often contrasted with display ads, which are advertisements that are placed on search engine results pages and paid for by advertisers.

Uses of search engine marketing in PPC

Other terms for this are “search engine marketing” or “SEM”. The main difference is people clicking on an ad does not automatically mean they will purchase a product or service.
Advertising is when businesses pay other people to promote their products to others.

This is done in many ways, such as featuring ads on their website, telling consumers where their competitors can be found on the web (known as search engine optimization [SEO]), or buying an ad in a newspaper or magazine.

Pay per click advertising involves a business paying a fee to have an ad displayed when a specific searcher conducts a search on a particular topic on a search engine.

PPC advertising sometimes referred to as pay-per-click advertising, refers to the practice of using paid advertising to direct online traffic to a website.

This is usually in the form of paid ads on search engines or paid ads on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
